XX4. Rose at 6.30. At work by 7. ―

Fine ― but the last few days are a good deal colder ― with wind cum dust.

Concerning the Royalty ― resolved to let things take their course.

Worked partly at the Tyrants, & partly at making an Alphabet for the Φιτζουιλλιαμινοι, till 3.30, when Mrs. Saltmarshe, cum Giuseppe Posidoni ― came; (& a Mr. Richards) Mrs. Saltmarshe ἠγώρησε[1] a drawing, & paid therefor.

A short walk ― taking the Alphabet to Chateau Laurent, & along the Parade: but it is too cold to be pleasant.

Dined at 6.30 ― & penned till 10.30.

Nice letter from S.W. Clowes.
