Bore. Grayer, not so very clear.

Worked at 3rd process of drawings.

Letters from ―
Gussie Bethell ― who comes on Monday.
Fanny Coombe.
F.L. ― whose little boy is dead.

Mrs. Beaumont & her niece came about 3.15: a very pleasant nice woman.

“Clarence” (the Prescotts ―) belonged to her, & the vignettes in the Drawing room are all from my drawings ― made for her in 1838!! ([finished] by Paris.)

Walked out, & met Colonel Northey, of old days. ―

Dined at 6.30. Penned out till 9.30 ― & wrote to T.G. Baring till 10.30.

Day fine: & wonderful climate is this!
