Rose ― θαυμαζόμενος ― ‘σ τὰς πέντ’ἣμισυ.[1]& colored somewhat before breakfast: ― after wh. endeavoured to buy an air=cusion for poor Cromek, but none of the Macintosh shops were open. So I came home. Later, drew £10 & sent 2 halves to him. Underhill came ― to whom I gave a drawing to copy. ― Mr. Morier, also. ― later Fairbairn ― at 4 ― when I was in a hustle: but he means to have the Jánina ― which is pleasant. At 4.30 ― to rail, meeting Mr. Prescott & so to Putney. Kind people, darling little Decies.
