Rose at 8. Gray fine. breakfast at 8.30 ― 9. ― Walk with Bern on lawn ― wh. is really looking very pretty. From 11 to 1 ― wrote ― to poor W.N. ― Ellen ― Miss Drewitt ― & French Consul.

Lunch at 1 ― & walking in Garden ― which looks lovely. Walk with Bern to Mt. Caburn. ―

Dinner & Evening. Most pleasant day. ―
