X Bad times.

Read Pashley’s Crete[1] till 1.

So De Veres ― & lunched with them: afterwards walked with them to Ascension, & the “middle ravine” & the “Gardens” ― going into Taylor’s Garden on our way back. Most pleasant.

To the Palace at 7.30.

To Barings rooms afterwards.
