Very lovely. No steamer: no mail at least, ― tho’ the Alexandria boat came.

Revoked plans, & suddenly unpacked my oils ― as, if it is only possible to finish these paintings & send all 6 to England ― a gt. matter is gained.

A. Wright called ― & Mr. C. Johnson. ―

Finished the small Olympus, & the Turin. Hurray!

At 3.30 ― with Wright to Ascension, where drew till 6. ―

Dined μοναχῶς.

Penned out till 10.30[.]
