Gray ― fine.

The 21 steamer, & the yesterday’s regular came in ― bringing the other 3 papers ― no letters.

Sent no letters to post.

Dim & dreary life.

Worked at Turin trees, & somewhat at Florence, mainly withal I looked out of window, watching the “dismantling” of Fort Neuf.

Dined μοναχῶς.

Penned out (Cerigo drawings,) till 11.30.
