Very lovely to look at. But still coldish.

Cold ˇ[in eyes & head] not so awfully bad, yet miserable enough: ― & better as day went on. Worked a little now & then ― at 6 commencement drawings. Did not go out, till at 6, went to the Boyds. Mrs. B. is very pleasant: poor B. is wonderfully “caricato” as dear old Giovannina used to say.

Craven is singularly a donkey. Evening ― ἔτζι κ’ἔτζι. Ill, from having lunched late.
