Awful day ― X4 ―almost totally dark.

Finished 18th Lithograph, & began 19th ― (viz. ― (No,. 9.). Wrote to George Kokali.

Awfull [sic] dark & depressing day ― not cold but black.

At 5.30 ― went ― unwell enough to Mrs. Bergmanns: ― looking for little pleasure: butSophy & Christian Bergmann are good people.

Dreary wet cab ride.


Good dinner ― & “remarkable” wines: ―

But little pleasure after ―: nor could I sing ― being hoarse.

Cab home by 11.
