But I did not send any of those letters. ――

Fine.

Worked all day from 9.30 to 4 ― at the 17. Lithograph i.e. No. 15. Zante.

At 5.30 to railway ― & 5.35 by rail to Barnes,, where a vehicle met me. ― Found the Decies ― & Reillys ― & the Master & Mistress: ― all the essence of kindness.

1863-10-10

The dinner good ― converse lively & pleasant, ― after dinner ― drawings ― & singing ― & ever the most hearty kindness ― fabulous in a way.

Bed at 11.
