Rose late. Indeed, a dreary weary life.

Worked at the Gastouri ― 6th Lithograph but the “filling in” ― & chalk-cutting & chalk=breaking ― worried me to so great a degree that at 3.30. I really was done up.

Half I thought ― & think ― I must give it up.

Rushed out, across the Park ― to Daddy Hunt’s ―― & of course he had just set off to Hastings. ―

Walked back by 5.30 ― & again worked till 6.15 ― but could not complete No. 6 ― nevertheless.

Ἐγευμάτισα μοναχῶς.[1]

O dear! how silly & tiresome a life! ― Shall I ― or not, go on with the remaining 14 Lithographs?
