Fine again all day. Rose at 7.

Packed & arranged drawings &c. ― very vexedly ― for all this bore & expense is but for a short time.

At 3 or 3.30, I was going out, when Wade-Browne, Edward Wilson, C. Massingberd, & Mrs. Robinson with Miss Louis all came, & I was kept till 5.30. Then I went to the Z. Gardens & staid till 7.15 ― walking back part, & cab the rest.

Those Gardens are such a Milestone or Landmark in my life that I like to go there when in England.

Dined at 8. ―
