Fine always. Rose at 6. ― or 5.30 ― & penned till 8.

All day went in making “effects” for the possible 20=plate Work on the Ionian Islands.

Bob Martineau came: ― & at 5 ― Mrs. Alfred Tennyson, & the 2 boys: dear little chaps. AT is still very unwell.

Walked to Digby Wyatt’s. Found Mrs. D.W. at home, & sate with her till 7.30 when D. came
