And Stephen Cave, whom it was a pleasure to see.
Thought I would make small designs for all the 20. Ionian plates ― but beginning one, it was time to go out at 4.
Went to see Church’s Icebergs ― the picture does not seem to me so good as the Andes, but it is very wonderful.
Bought a prayer-book 13/― for Minnie E. Morse, & cab 1/6. to Fanny Coombe.
Mr. Morse is evidently a gentlemanly & an amiable man.
Evening quiet, yet less sadly dull than sometimes.
