XX4.

Wet, & violently stormy all day long ― cum thunder.

Worked at the Palaiokastritza ― in black & white.

Came Mr. Earle ― Mrs. Caldwell’s brother. ― later Capt. & Mrs. Foley ― nice people. ― 2 other officers also. But it grew dark & very wet.

At 6. shut up: & at 6.45. dined. Also ― Θαύμαστον[1] ― penned out till 9.30. & saw ˇ[to] G.’s writing.
