Dark ― rainy ― & windy ― all day.

Read Papers, & wrote to F.L., Lady Waldegrave, & ET.

Violent storms of wind ― hail ― rain ― all day.

At 6.30 ― went in a “coach” to the De Vere’s.

Something uneasy there is. After these, I make no more semi=intimacies.

Singing later ― & Mrs. De Veres beautiful playings.

Home before 11. But I had forgot the key, ― & had to knock up poor George. ―
