Cloudy, warm, gleamy gray ―: one would have said, rain & S.W. wind ahead. But all at once, at 4.30 ― a brisk North wind ― which is a going on hard ― now ― 10.30.

Finished Nos. 24 ― & 25 ― but between the two, I ran across (at noon) to get a more correct drawing of the citadel ― a move which upset my work & me also ―

How quaint & queer. ―

Turkeys ― geese ― sheep: ―what variety there always is about the walls of Corfû!

At 5. went out & walked till 6.30.

Dined at 7.

Penned out ― Στρογγιλῆ drawings till 10.15.
