Very fine all day.

Rose at 8. Somewhat better. Tea ― instead of coffee ― & no eggs. ― Accounts with Giorgio.

Poorly ― but grew better.

Worked at 30 drawings. (!!)

Scarpa ― Méxa ― T. Zambelli ― & Captn. Roberts  & Mrs. Brophy came.

At 3.30 ― walked the short round ― returning by 5. Dined at 5.30. broth & boiled fowl.

At 6.30. Stephanizzi for an hour.

Wrote till 9.30. ― Bed at 10[.]

Slept little after 1 or 2.

Bad cough, & very unwell.

Cramp ― & vomiting.
