Sunday, 12 October 1862

A dark, & mostly rainy day.

Things ― quâ the Dæmon, are getting as bad as ever.

Toiled all the morning to find that sketch done with W.M. at Nemi ― more than 20 years ago ― & finally gave, it, & all the oil sketches, up for lost & meditated thereon. Of course I found all directly afterwards.

Could not write nor read nor draw much. ―

at 6 ― to Digby Wyatts!

Very pleasant evening.

Cab home by 11.
