Monday, 15 September 1862

The fine day of this year ―― & all day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rose at 4.30 ― or 7 ― Gk. till 9.30, Walk in grounds.

Breakfast pleasant.

Afterwards ― we all sate on the lawn ― croquet going on ― till 2 ―. Lunch.

(Hish, has, hush, ― & “Currie” went.)

At 3 ― we all went to see an old church & a new church ― & a down ― & a view.

Whence Mr. Adams & I walked back.

Mrs. A.’s call to Mr. A. about my 2 brothers children ― in each army.

Dinner very pleasant ―

Riddles ― Epitaphs. Singing.
