Very fine all day. really, some sun at times.

Ill. Of course.

Letters from F.L. & others. Wrote to several. E. Drummond, T. Baring &c. &c.

Worked at Gastouri ― (nearly finishing it ―) but with gt. exertion.

The Florence fixed in its frame.

At 5 ― walked to Sophy Bergmann’s. A good kind couple.

No end of good wine & hospitality. Singing ―

Walked partly with W. Baker, home by 10.45. or 11.

Letters from T. Baring & Mrs. Prescott ― the Decies have a little girl ― to whom I wrote.

[Transcribed by Marco Graziosi from Houghton Library, Harvard University, MS Eng. 797.3.]
