Gray early ― then fine: a real fine day all day!!!!!

Rose at 6.30. Notes to answer, ― little Greek.

All day ― worked, well or ill, at Adml. Robinson’s Corfû. Edwd. Wilson came, with a friend: there are few people more cheery & pleasant than Edwd. Wilson.

And, at 3 ― came Mr. & Mrs. Prescott, & Miss Perry: an extremely pleasant visit: ― moreover Miss P. bought 2 of the smaller Corfus ― Gastούρι, & Ascension.

So we waxed agreable.

At 7. I went to Kads & ordered shirts &c. ― & then dined (alquanto[1] extravagantly ― but from a misunderstanding ―) at the Blue Posts.

Home by 9.30 ―― Greek ― & bed at 10.30.

[1] Very.
