Fair & warmer. Rose at 5 ― but XX ― so slept till 7.

Very unwell. ― Sir F. Goldsmid sent 126. for the Athos.

Wrote 12 notes ― & worked somewhat on the Corfûs, more or less all day ― interruptedly. Fergusson came, a pleasant visit: & Charles, Mrs. & Miss Percy, ― also very agreable. ―

At 6.30 cab to Brompton ― awful crowd.

Pleasant, & later ― Mocatta.
