Very wet. Pouring nearly all day.

Rose at 6. & finished the 48 drawings. ―

The Marathon, & packages have come.

Torrant called & Dickenson.

Went to the R. Academy ― saw the G. Parry’s there, afterwards called on the Drummonds & got 10£.

Then on Majr. Reynolds & Miss Y.: both grumbly ― poor things.

Home by 6. Always lots of notes to answer.

Dined at the T. Potters ― a very A No. 1 “repast.”

Very good dinner & wines. The Artist=footman. Discussions. ―

I ― or rather AT sang.

Drove home partly with Mr. Whitmore.
