Left the kind Husey Hunts at 7.

In town by 10 ― i.e. at Stratford Place.

Found many letters ― & money. ―

Arranged & unpacked. ―

To the Beadon House ― alas ―! now empty.

To Daddy Hunts ― out: & then to the Gt. Exbtn. where I walked about with B. Grey ― & where I saw Edwd. Wilson of Melbourne, Fanny & Laura Coombe, Gibbs & the Brights, ― & others. ― Afterwards called on the Clives ― out: ― & on the Crakes ― Mr. C. fast sinking.

Came home ― J.B. Edwards called.

Dined alone ―

Borrowed 5£ from B. Husey Hunt.
