Breakfast at 9 ― no sleep till 4. Weather still immensely close & hot. At 11, all the things came, except a blk trunk, & most of the day went in arranging the back room. ― Wrote a good deal,

At 4 bathed in the [hotion] ― but it was too rough for me. ― Then newspaper & dinner. Wrote a little Greek after ―: & at 8 posted letters.
