Saturday, 16 July 1859

Same hot, bright weather. ― The prayers, breakfast, garden ― & some quiet work ― little enough, ― on a sepia drawing. ―

After lunch ― at 4 ― saw the 3 ladies & child off to Brighton, ― I dining quietly with B.H.H. ― a pleasure.

Evening ― the rest returned, & singing.
