Fine ― not bright ― no rain ― no cold ― no wind.

Rose at 7 (!) & worked at Greek. ― Painted at Iviron. ― At 12 Ferendrios (2).

Worked again till 5. Short walk.

Dined at 46th with Campbell. Curzon & Ponsonby &c. Uneasy from eyes ― afraid of claret so drank 3 glasses of port ― whereby I suffer. Later, Vesey & others came ― & it was all sporting lingo. ―
