Immensely cold. Clear!! ― No didaskalos ― & no Greek, rose at 8. Worked hard all day ― at Walter’s picture. No one came. At bright sunset, rushed out ― oh: cold!!! ― met L. ― walked the old round. ― Dined alone & comfortably but uneasy at not giving to poor.

Penned out till 9½.

Cold amazing.
