Wet. Rose late. ― Not well.

Wrote all day long ― posting letters to Ann, C.F. ― W.N. & others. It rained & was otherwise odious. So I went not out. At 7 to the Loughmans, Turville, Lushington, & one of the 46th. ― Evening not at all unpleasant. Madeira most good.
